Indiana State University

84 females from 12 schools participated in the September conference!

Here’s what some of the conference participants had to say:
The conference was “very fun & informative.”
“I met new girls that have the same things in common with me.”
“More schools should come to this! It ROCKS!!”
“I had a lot of fun.  Now I have other ideas about what I want to be.”
“I [heart] this college!”

ISU’s College of Technology hosted the first “F.I.T. for the Future” conference for females in middle school and high school on September 28.  Participants attended a variety of technology workshops facilitated by ISU technology students. As a special bonus, five industry females presented their experiences to the participating students.  Students learned how these females chose their careers, the paths they have followed in building their careers, and how to take advantage of opportunities in the world of technology, engineering, and manufacturing for your future.
