Mitch is a senior in Packaging Technology. During the summer and fall semesters of 2002 and 2003,
he interned with Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis. He worked in Dry Products Packaging Engineering.
Mitch acquired experience in several intriguing areas such as line efficiencies, equipment acquisition,
streamlining of master packaging orders, and procedure revision. Mitch suggests that all students
complete an internship, even if not required to graduate. He says that you may not totally like
everything about it, but the experience you receive will make up for it in the long run.
