Out-of-state residents are eligible for the online rates (listed above) if they are admitted to an Indiana State University online program, and enroll only in online courses (section numbers 301 - 309).

Out-of-state residents who do not meet these eligibility requirements will be charged out-of-state tuition.

Meal Plans

The Flex meal plan provides approximately 10 meals per week and $102.00 per semester ($6/wk) in Commons Cash* and is already included in the room and board rates. If you wish to upgrade the basic meal plan, see below for additional costs:

*Commons Cash can be spent in any food format on campus: Your favorite restaurants in the Commons (such as Burger King, Pizza Hut, or Taco Bell) take Commons Cash, as do the coffee shops on campus.

A full year parking permit is from August to August of the following year. If you purchase a permit during the year, your costs will be prorated.

Additional Costs

In addition to the costs enumerated above, students will also incur additional expenses which will depend upon the number and type of courses in which they enroll.

· Textbook costs can be between $800-$1200 per year

· Some courses may have laboratory fees.

· Personal expenses include gas, entertainment, laundry, etc.
