United Way of Indiana State University
Participating in Indiana State University’s United Way campaign is an opportunity to join together to make a difference in our community. As we look beyond ISU to our surrounding communities, the needs are great and seem to grow with each year. United Way provides us an effective way that we can all be part of the effort to address those needs. It is an opportunity to show that ISU cares and prove that together we can do so much more than we can alone. Last year, 450 ISU faculty and staff raised nearly $68,000 for the United Way. It is an event for the entire ISU community to join together and demonstrate support for those organizations and people in need. ISU’s United Way campaign operates on a completely voluntary basis; there is no pressure on you to contribute. Rather, we hope you will participate because you see this as a valuable way to support many of the helping agencies in the communities where we live and work.
Our 2013 campaign kicked off with a Student Art Fair on September 25, 2012, and will conclude in January 2013.

The United Way of the Wabash Valley represents nearly 40 agencies in six counties - Vigo, Vermillion, Parke, Sullivan, Clay, and Clark. By pooling our donations, and letting our local United Way volunteers carefully evaluate applications from human services agencies, your gifts go farther.

ISU's united day for united way
Friday, January 18th, will mark the seventh annual United Day
for United Way of the Wabash Valley. The Campus United Way Committee will staff
donation buckets in the HMSU as well as in the Library between 11 a.m. and 1
p.m. Stop by and drop off your spare change, that extra $5 you had tucked away,
or write a check to United Way. This is an opportunity to give to United Way so
they can provide help to our friends and colleagues in need in the coming year.
