A beautiful and expanding backdrop to learning.

Indiana State University's campus, situated in downtown Terre Haute, provides a park-like atmosphere to learning. Everything you need - residence halls, classrooms, labs, computing centers, recreation facilities and the student union are just a scenic walk away.

Students and their families are strongly encouraged to attend Sycamore Preview Days or Accepted Student Day to get an up-close look at how learning comes alive at Indiana State, meet with representatives from Financial Aid, Residential Life and the Career Center, and hear from students first-hand what being a Sycamore really is all about.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT update

Fifteen major construction and renovation projects are in the works campus-wide as Indiana State University continues to build for the future.

Projects include modernizing residence halls, science labs, and the university health clinic; renovation of the Technology Building, renovation of the Federal Building to house the Scott College of Business; creating a new home for the Welcome Center in the Family and Consumer Sciences Building; improving traffic flow by opening Fifth Street to two-way traffic; and the second phase of a pedestrian plaza on Chestnut Street between Seventh and Eighth streets.

Projects are financed variously by state funds, federal stimulus dollars and self-supporting university funds. In all cases, funds are specifically earmarked for construction.
