Duties and responsibilities of standing committees:
Executive:
- take action on behalf of the full Advisory Board

meet at least every other month
-
be composed of the Advisory Board officers, standing committee
chairs, a member representing ISU Academic Affairs and one at-large
member selected by the WCI-AHEC President
Board development and training committee:
-
formulate resolutions and make recommendations to the Board
regarding Board training, recruitment, retention, exceptions to the
‘time served’ rule and self-evaluations
-
formulate resolutions and make recommendations to the Board
regarding new board member orientation
-
facilitate nominations and election processes for Board member
positions

oversee the nominations process for election of officers
Fiscal Sustainability Committee:
-
formulate resolutions and make recommendations to the Board
regarding the gathering and distribution of information needed to
make informed decisions about financial stability

review the annual operating budget as well as any special grants or
contracts

make appropriate and regular reports and recommendations to the
Board
Strategic Planning Committee:

formulate resolutions and make recommendations to the Board
regarding the gathering and distribution of information needed to
make informed decisions about the strategic plan

oversee development of a strategic plan
