Kimberly G. Collins

Kimberly G. Collins is a lifelong Sycamore from Terre Haute, Indiana. She is studying marketing with a minor in entrepreneurship. Upon completion of her bachelor’s degree, she will pursue a master’s degree in communication at Indiana State University. A President’s Scholar and a Networks Scholar, Trustee Collins is an involved leader on campus and in the community. She serves as a peer mentor for the Honors College and has raised money for Riley Hospital for Children through State Dance Marathon. Trustee Collins was the founding president of the Student Philanthropy Organization, where she helped create a “Sycamores Supporting Sycamores” culture on campus. She currently serves as the organization’s vice president of marketing, communications, and stewardship. She works as a student writer supervisor in the University Marketing office and as a stewardship marketing intern in the ISU Foundation. Trustee Collins was selected in the inaugural cohort of McKee Fellows and is striving to promote childhood literacy and a passion for Indiana State through a children’s book about Sycamore Sam. Trustee Collins also completed an internship with the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the summer of 2021.
