This seminar will function as a one week workshop dedicated to giving students of all skill levels a practical learning experience in the field of broadcasting and media. In this class, students will learn about the ins and outs of an actual radio station and our new high definition television studio. Each day, students will learn a new function of radio and television production. The workshop will begin with an introduction to broadcasting and culminate with both a final video project and audio project which will be completed by the class as a group. Throughout the course, students will learn professional audio/video techniques as well as the history of broadcasting and the significant impact it has on society.
