What do you like most about being an Honors student?
I love the challenge that inherently comes with being an Honors student. The classes challenge you differently than most classes at Indiana State, which is a nice change of pace. Also, Honors is a great way to meet quality friends!
Leadership and involvement at STATE:
I am the Executive Vice President of Academic Success and Membership Development for the Interfraternity Council. In that role, I assist academic chairs in ways they can improve their policies and philosophies regarding academics for their chapter. I am the Health and Wellness Chair for Delta Sigma Phi, where I oversee programming that improves brother's overall wellbeing. I am also a part of Honors Council and Student Government Association. I am the student representative for the Special Course fee committee for SGA.
What advice do you have for incoming Honors students?
Do not let yourself become too stressed about being a part of the Honors College. Enjoy the classes and get to know the faculty members.
