What do you like most about being an Honors student?
The best thing about being an Honors student is all different opportunities that comes with the college. Personally, I enjoy the many different class choices that keep you engaged and constantly thinking.
Leadership and involvement at STATE:
In addition to being an Honors Peer Mentor, I am involved in a professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, where I will hold the Alumni Relations chair in fall 2019. I am also involved in the Sycamore Marching band, where I play the tenor saxophone. Along with that, I have participated in Riley Dance Marathon. Lastly, I am employed at the Student Recreation Center as a station attendant.
What advice do you have for incoming Honors students?
My advice for incoming Honors students is to try something new and get involved. There are many different opportunities to get out there and college is the place to start a new adventure.
