What do you like most about being an Honors student?
I love the community and support that comes along with being an Honors student at State. Honors has provided me with incredible peers, mentors, professors, and friends that have shaped me into the person I am today and assisted in my success in and out of the classroom.
Leadership and involvement at STATE:
One of my favorite things about ISU is all of the involvement opportunities. On campus, I have worked as a Welcome Team Leader and a campus tour guide. I am involved in President’s Scholars Association, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, and ISU Fit. I have served time on Honors Council and was president of the Student Alumni Association. This year, I am excited be serving the university as Student Government Association President.
What advice do you have for incoming Honors students?
My advice is to step out of your comfort zone. College is a great time to try new things, meet new people, grow, and learn! Your best experiences and memories are going to come from moments that you stepped out of your comfort zone. Don’t let it scare you- let it excite you!
