What do you like most about being an Honors student?
I love being part of the Honors community. The staff in the Honors College are very approachable and friendly, and they want to help you succeed. Additionally, students within this community are very encouraging but will push you to grow as a student, leader, and person.
Leadership and involvement at STATE:
I am involved in Alpha Phi Omega Co-Ed Service Fraternity, Colleagues Helping Implement Lifelong Learning (C.H.I.L.L.) Board of Directors, and State Dance Marathon, and I was a member of Sycamore Leadership Coalition during my freshman year. Also, I work in the Bayh College of Education Dean’s Office as a Student Assistant.
What advice do you have for incoming Honors students?
College is truly what you make of it. Indiana State has so much to offer its students, so be sure to get involved, network, and meet new people. Enjoy your time here, work hard, and have fun!
