Law and Administration Minor

Description

The online law and administration minor is an excellent way to increase employability and to supplement skills and abilities.

Coursework for the online law and administration minor includes 18 credit hours of study that enhances critical thinking and expands the student’s knowledge of the field of the criminal law and the court system. Areas of study include criminal law and procedure, the court systems, the law on evidence, and techniques of criminal justice interviewing. The minor is well-suited for criminology and criminal justice, psychology, and general studies majors as well as others preparing for careers in social work, mental health facilities, or numerous other careers in the justice system.

The minor is open to all eligible ISU students (including criminology and criminal justice majors) who wish to add a minor to their current program of study. Courses in the minor may satisfy some requirements in some majors, including psychology and general studies. Students should consult with their advisors before enrolling in courses to ensure suitability and plan their program of study.

All courses are offered online. On-campus visits are not required.
