Admissions Requirements

The online Engineering Technology Management (ETM) Bachelor Degree-Completion Program is designed for transfer students.  The program requires that the student has earned an associate degree in engineering technology or a closely related technical area from an accredited program. The surest evidence of an appropriate associate degree is ABET accreditation. The evaluation of other accreditations is more complex and the student may not be granted admission to the online program. Transfer students without an approved associate degree may be admitted to the four-year ETM Program for freshman, which is only offered on the Indiana State University campus, located in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Admission—Minimum Requirements

To be admitted to the online learning program in engineering technology management, the applicant must be admitted to the University as a degree-seeking student and satisfy the following:

  • Completion of an associate of applied science (A.A.S.) or an associate of sciences (A.S.) in an industrial and engineering technology related area from a regionally accredited college or university

  • A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (C average) in all college-level studies
