The online RN to BSN Program is open to eligible in-state and many out-of-state applicants. The program is closed to all students (including U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members) residing in a country other than the United States. The program is designed for transfer students.
To be admitted to the RN to BSN Program, the applicant must be admitted to the University as degree-seeking student and satisfy the following:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the United States
- A minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in all college level studies
- An associate of science (A.S.) in nursing from Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, or another program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN). Graduates of diploma programs or non-ACEN accredited associate degree nursing programs may apply for review by the department chairperson. For details, visit the Nursing Program.
Note: Once admitted to the University, students must apply for admission to the Baccalaureate Degree Nursing Program. Deadlines for application to the Nursing Program are: November 1 (spring entry) and June 1 (fall entry). For instructions, visit the Nursing Program.
