The online RN to BSN Track is open to eligible in-state and many out-of-state applicants. The program is closed to all students (including U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members) residing in a country other than the United States. The program is designed for transfer students.
To be admitted to the RN to BSN Track, the applicant must be admitted to the University as degree-seeking student and satisfy the following:
- Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in a state in which the RN-BSN Track is available
- Current residence in a state in which the RN-BSN Track is available
- A minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in all college level studies
- An associate of science (A.S.) in nursing from Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, or another program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN). Graduates of diploma programs or non-ACEN accredited associate degree nursing programs may apply for review by the department chairperson. For details, visit the Nursing Program.
