Housed in Academic Affairs, we provide support and training to faculty, staff, and students, and lead ongoing assessment and evaluation practices with the purpose of promoting data-informed planning and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

Dr. Kelley Woods-Johnson, Director of Assessment and Program Effectiveness

Kelley came to ISU and this role in June 2018.  She has comprehensive expeirence in assessment and program evaluation methods within academic and student affairs, with a focus on qualitative inquiry.  Prior to joining ISU, Kelley spent 13 years serving in various capacities in student affairs administration at Virginia Tech and Northern Kentucky University.  Kelley holds her PhD in Higher Education Administration and a Certificate in Educational Reserach and Evaluation from Virginia Tech, MEd in Educational Foundations from the University of Cincinnati, and BSEd in Middle Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati. She serves as an instructor in the Department of Educational Leadership teaching Program Evaluation (SAHE 651) to students in the Student Affairs and Higher Education master's program.
