Get Involved

Assessment is done best when it is a shared responsibility, and we would greatly appreciate your expertise.  Below you will find ways to get involved, or you can contact the Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator at x7975 any time to talk further.

Assessment Volunteer Corps

The Office of Assessment and Accreditation along with the University College Council seeks faculty and staff volunteers to participate periodically as artifact reviewers for Foundational Studies assessment.  The projected time commitment is 1-2 days a semester where volunteers are brought together to conduct rubric-based assessment of student artifacts.  Additionally, volunteers will attend a short training session prior to the review day in order to successfully prepare.  If you are interested, please email Kelley Woods-Johnson at Kelley.Woods-Johnson@indstate.edu to be put on the list.
