Accounting is in demand
“Advances in technology and the promise of big data is transforming the way we do business, which puts a lot of pressure on businesses to try and figure out how to operate. As accountants, we need to be able to adapt and embrace the technological change”
- Dr. Cory Campbell
“The faculty at Indiana State University provided me with a great education. I left the School of Business well prepared to sit for the CPA exam. The opportunities that I received in teaching supplemental instruction classes, meeting with industry contacts, and hands-on learning put me on a path to success in my career. Thanks, ISU!”
- Ellie Caldwell, Sackrider & Company
“The professional- and career-focused student organizations available, like Beta Alpha Psi and Delta Sigma Pi, which I was president of, were huge for me. Indiana State University and the Scott College of Business also connected me to my job in the student computer labs and to a local Terre Haute accounting firm, for a part time tax season internship while in school.”
