On-Campus Recruiting
If you are looking fill full-time job or internship opportunities, participating in On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) opportunities is the perfect opportunity to connect with students. OCR takes place while classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters. Employers interested in participating in OCR should e-mail isu-career-center@mail.indstate.edu.
Posting Opportunities - Handshake
If you have current openings for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, cooperative education, fellowships, volunteering opportunities or internships, post them on Handshake which is the #1 way college students find jobs. By using Handshake, you have the ability to post and edit your open opportunities, as well as take the posting down once the position is filled. Indiana State University students will be able to search for your company and positions, and apply directly with you.

Career Fairs
Career fairs allow employers to meet with students and alumni in an informal setting. The fairs provide a great opportunity for employers to interact with a diverse group of students and alumni seeking full-time employment, and internship opportunities. You can view and register for career fairs through Handshake, our career services platform, the #1 way college students find jobs. Mark your calendar and make plans to attend a high impact recruitment event. For more information about a specific fair, please e-mail the staff listed below.

Virtual Mock Interview Days
Our Virtual Mock Interview Day events are great opportunities to connect with students in a 1-on-1 format and help them prepare for interviews. Through this program we are able to connect employers and recruiters to classes within their industry(s) allowing recruiters to meet potential applicants while building a stronger relationship with Indiana State University. Virtual Mock Interview Days typically last 3-4 hours and depending on the class size need 4-8 recruiters facilitating mock interviews. One Virtual Mock Interview Day event typically host 4-6 recruiters from different employers.

Information Session (virtual or on campus)
An information session provides employers with the opportunity to promote their company and benefits, share information regarding their current job or internship opportunities, and offer more information about their organization's culture. The sessions give employers an opportunity to interact with Indiana State University students face-to-face and can be held in conjunction with a career fair or an On-Campus Recruiting schedule. Information sessions can be a formal presentations or an informal open house conducted on campus or virtually. You can scheduled an information session by e-mailing isu-career-center@mail.indstate.edu or schedule a time to chat about the options available to you. We encourage you to make your request early to allow for enough time to promote the session to students and faculty.
Tours and Immersion Trips (virtual or onsite)
Hosting students at your organization is another opportunity to meet and interact with students face-to-face as well as show them what your organization is all about. These visits could consist of tours of your facility, presentations with employees, shadowing experience for students, or other activities to engage students at your place of business.
Classroom Presentations (virtual or on campus)
A classroom presentation is an opportunity to talk to a specific major about your company or a position that you are hiring for. We can coordinate with faculty members in an academic area to organize a presentation for you in a classroom.
