Dr. Clarissa Starbuck Clarissa.Starbuck@indstate.edu I am a postdoctoral research associate for the Center for Bat Research, Outreach, and Conservation. I have been fascinated by bats since the age of seven, and I have been involved in bat research since my freshman year of college. I am interested in many aspects of bat ecology, but both my MS and PhD research used bat acoustics to determine bat habitat selection at multiple spatial scales. At the Bat Center, I am working on part of a large project where we are studying the effects of forest management on the endangered Indiana bat in northern Missouri. |
Research Interests: bat ecology, conservation biology, bioacoustics, habitat selection at multiple scales |
