The Text Entry question type is a simple question with a blank area to allow people to enter whatever they wish. On the right, you have many options available for the size of the answer you allow, the number of lines of text you will allow, and even an option for the minimum or maximum length that you might require. 

To edit the question, simply click on the section that says Click to write the question text.
