Applicants are chosen by a graduate committee made up of three professors. All applicants must have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. Scholarships and assistantships are awarded on a competitive basis. Please submit this form directly to the department or fax it to (812) 237-2407.

Teaching/Graduate Assistant Job Description:
A student receiving an assistantship in the School of Criminology and Security Studies may be expected to complete any or all of the following tasks: lead small group discussions and presentations in class under the supervision of an instructor, utilize computer resources to present material in class or in leading group discussions, proctor exams, grade exams, record grades in grade book or on spreadsheet, show videos in classes, conduct library and internet research, data entry, filing, make copies/transparencies, assist other teaching/graduate assistants or professors, assist in the Crim office, and assist with the annual Criminology Career Fair
