Dr. Sultana's research interests include Rare Earth hard magnet, soft magnet, nano materials, nanocomposites, powder metallurgy, battery cell development, material characterization, physio-chemical property analysis, thermal analysis, and X-ray analysis. One area of research focused on developing materials with improved extrinsic magnetic properties of permanent magnets by controlling the mechanism of the formation of solid-state phase, creating new better and cheaper magnets for various efficient modern-day machines, electric cars, devices, and energy applications.
