Marty Conner is a Vice President in the Business Intelligence delivery group dealing with financial reporting for SunTrust Banks. In this role, he deals with many types of financial reporting including Federal Regulatory and Financial Crimes reporting. Working in a Shared Services group he is heavily involved with the Data and Analytics design of dashboards and graphic visualizations to drive decision making. He manages both on and off shore resources.

Prior to working at SunTrust, Marty worked for 17 years at Georgia-Pacific where he was a lead in the Business Intelligence group working on integrating Supply Chain reporting and SAP.

Marty has been a speaker at national conferences and a keynote speaker at Supply Chain Luncheons. Marty also was invited to speak to over 1200 IBM developers at their national conference.

Marty began his career teaching at the middle school level and has also taught Computer Science courses at the college level for the University System of Georgia.

Marty graduated from Indiana State University earning a BS degree in 1974 with a dual major in Radio-TV, Film and Secondary Education. He also earned a dual minor in Speech Communications and Audio Visual.

Marty has 3 daughters and lives with his wife Beth (ISU Grad 1975) in Lawrenceville Georgia (suburb of Atlanta).
