Todd Gallagher, holds a B.S. degree in music and an M.M. degree in double bass performance from Indiana State University.  A native of Illinois, he currently performs with Danville, Champaign-Urbana, Lafayette, and Eastern Illinois Symphonies.  

Mr. Gallagher is also active as a freelance jazz and commercial bassist on both electric and upright bass. He has studied with David Murray, Donovan Stokes, Todd Coolman, and Rufus Reid. He has mentored bass for over 20 years as an adjunct in higher education and in his private studio.
