Research Interests/Specialties:  Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) evaluation, developmental disabilities, and behavioral treatments for such disorders

Dr. Walter received her PhD in school psychology from Indiana State University with an emphasis on assessment and counseling.  Dr. Walter is a licensed psychologist and school psychologist in the state of Indiana.  Dr. Walter has spent time in the public schools, in-patient setting, and private clinic completing assessments and individual and group therapies.

Dr. Walter's primary research interest is in the diagnostic procedures of ASD, intellectual and other developmental disabilities, and behavioral treatments used in the home/school setting for individuals with these disorders.

Dr. Walter currently teaches undergraduate psychology classes, including the field work course, and assessment courses in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program.
