Theater Studies Concentration

*Students should take starred courses before taking courses within their concentration. Students must choose area(s) of concentration before the beginning of their junior year.

Theater Studies Concentration (21 credits):


Those students who are choosing not to pursue a disciplinary concentration and prefer the Theater Studies Track, must take the 27-credit core plus 21 distribution courses (see Distribution Courses below) comprised of three-credit and practicum course credits, with at least 3 credits in TWO of the three concentrations and 6 credits in a third concentration (for a total of 12 distribution credits). That leaves 9 free credits from wherever the student chooses.

Choose between 3 and 6 credits from the following (Playwriting, Dramaturgy, and Directing Distribution Courses)
