The dance program allows students to discover and sharpen their mind/body connection while learning theory and practice simultaneously.
Note: The Dance minor is offered through the College of Health and Human Services in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport.
Required Theory courses (9 credits):
- PE 353 - Theory and Methods of Dance 3 Credits
- PE 363 - Dance Repertory 1 Credit
- PE 396 - Practicum in Dance 2 Credits
- PE 474 - Dance Composition: Designing, Structuring, and Staging 3 Credits
Skill Proficiencies - Choose 8 credits from the following:
- PE 121 - Ballroom Dance 1 Credit
- PE 124 - Modern Dance 1 Credit
