This semester, I've felt like I've been growing more creatively into who I want to be as an artist. Alongside, it's been difficult for me to navigate goals for my surroundings as well as personal objectives moving forward. I chose to highlight the hair and parts of my skin with the palette knife in order to communicate a molded energy/movement. I left the background, shirt, and parts of my face more undefined to show the indecisive environment I embody for now. I chose to angle my face away from the viewer to further display a sense of longing.
