* Isolation A person who has tested positive with symptoms must isolate at home for 10 days from symptom onset, be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication, AND have improvement in symptoms. A person who has tested positive but is without symptoms must isolate at home for 10 days after the date the positive specimen was collected.
** Quarantine Close contacts who have been exposed should quarantine at home for 14 days after last date of exposure to the positive individual. As per CDC and ISHD guidelines, we are quarantining only those individuals who have had close contact with a COVID-19 positive person (not roommates of close contacts). Our Contact Tracing Team has been through the Johns Hopkins Contact Training program and are following those practices, in addition to working with the county health department when a question arises. Please contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 812-237-3829 or email ISU-ContactTracing@indstate.edu if you have questions about your status or the contact tracing process.
Any cases involving student employees are counted in the numbers for Employees and Students.
