Isolation  A person who has tested positive with symptoms must isolate at home for ten days from symptom onset, be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication, AND have improvement in symptoms. A person who has tested positive but is without symptoms must isolate at home for ten days after the date the positive specimen was collected.
** Quarantine guidelines for close contacts will be determined by symptom and vaccination status according to July 2021 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC).  An Indiana State Contact Tracer will work with close contacts to determine the length of the quarantine. Our Contact Tracing Team is following Johns Hopkins Contact Training program's best-practice guidelins. We also are working with the county health department to address questions whenever they arise. Please contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 812-237-3829 or email ISU-ContactTracing@indstate.edu if you have questions about your status or the contact tracing process.

Any cases involving student employees are counted in the numbers for Employees and Students.
