Established in 2005 by faculty from the department of educational and school psychology in honor of emeritus professor and chairperson, Dr. Kenneth P. Walker. The award recognizes demonstrated excellence in school psychology across the areas of academics, research, clinical skills, professional involvement and leadership. Final selection is made by a faculty committee appointed by the chair of the department.
