ISU Police Department

ISU police officers respond to emergency situations on campus. ISU Police is also a great resource for individuals who want to talk to an officer about options for reporting a sexual assault.

UAP Clinic/ ISU Health Center

Individuals who have been assaulted can receive many medical services free-of-charge, including treatment of injuries, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, a pregnancy test, and emergency contraception.

For emergency medical attention and rape kit for evidence collection use Terre Haute Regional Hospital or Union Hospital Emergency Rooms:

Student Counseling Center

Licensed psychologists and counselors can assist those individuals who have been affected by sexual assault (including victims, friends, partners, etc.) by providing counseling services, including crisis intervention and individual counseling. Victims of sexual assault will receive psychological services regardless of ability to pay.

Victim Advocate

The Victim Advocate is available for confidential consultation in regard to sexual assault and misconduct. The Victim Advocate can provide assistance with navigating policies and processes and help with issues pertaining to housing, academics and the filing of student conduct complaints. The Victim Advocate can meet with a student at their residence, the hospital, the police department, or on campus. The Victim Advocate will assist in connecting students to campus and community resources.

Ombudsperson/Dean of Students

The Ombudsperson is available for consultation in regard to sexual assault and misconduct for respondents. The Ombudsperson can provide assistance with navigating policies and processes and help with issues pertaining to housing, academics and the filing of student conduct complaints.

Equal Opportunity and Title IX Office

The Office of Equal Opportunity works to ensure compliance with University policies regarding discrimination. The Title IX Coordinator is responsible for implementing the Procedures for Non-Discrimination and Anti- Harassment Complaints, conducts the administrative investigations, and is a resource to anyone with questions or concerns regarding sexual harassment and sexual violence, which are forms of illegal discrimination.

Student Conduct and Integrity

The Office of Student Conduct is a good resource for students who wish to speak with someone about campus sexual misconduct policies and the adjudication process for violations of such policies.

Residential Life

Residence Services staff can assist students with any issues or concerns regarding their on-campus housing.
