Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mini Week Celebration: MLK Trivia

Please Join the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center for an alternative celebration from our annual dinner to a Mini Week of events to celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Mini Week of Events:

• Social Media Takeover- Jan.15th-Jan. 21st: We’re asking all organizations, departments and you to share MLK facts and information from his birthday and the entire week.
• MLK Trivia- Come Join us Tuesday, Jan.18th at 6 p.m. in the AACC and learn fun facts and information about Dr. King. Hosted by Black Student Union, NAACP, NCNW, BOSS, SAAS, and the AACC student staff. Prizes will be available.
• Candlelight Vigil- Meet us at Fountain Jan.19th at 6 p.m. to have a moment of reflection and honor Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.
• Community Service for Dr. King Jan.20th from noon-2:00 p.m. in the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center.
• Wear All Black for solidarity on Jan.21st
