Come and learn more on how to support college students with invisible disabilities; focusing on Autism, Ad/HD, Language Processing disorders, and Anxiety disorders. Dr. Christy Oslund is Coordinator of Disability Services at Michigan Technological University and the author of two acclaimed books: Succeeding as a Student in the STEM fields with an Invisible disability; and Supporting College and University Students with Invisible Disabilities: a Guide for Faculty and Students with Autism, Ad/HD, Language Processing disorders, Anxiety, and Mental Illness, Jessica Kingsley Publishers (2014). Faculty, staff and graduate students who teach are encouraged to attend this brown bag presentation. Light refreshments and dessert provided.
