Description

IRBs operate under federal regulations governing the conduct of human subjects research. The federal government defines human subjects research so that IRBs know when they do and don't exercise oversight. These regulations are not always easy to understand. This session provides guidance about what is and is not research under the federal definition, including information about student projects, interviews, work with existing data, pilot studies, and other types of activities common at ISU.

This session will be held at the FCTE, 1st floor of the Cunningham Memorial Library, just past Cup and Chaucer Cafe.
