Six student conductors will be featured in this concert, themed “Some Things Old, Some Things New, Some Things Borrowed, Some Things Blue”at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in Tirey Hall, Tilson Auditorium. Also performing is Professor Douglas Keiser, director of the Concert Band. Band members include music students playing their primary or secondary instruments, non-music major ISU students who just want to keep playing in a band and community members. Ages of the players range from age 14 up into the 80s, proof that playing music helps keep you both young and young at heart.
