The Indiana State University School of Music and Flute Studio will present a Flute Fair this Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. in the Landini Center for the Performing and Fine Arts.

The ISU Flute Fair features Dr. Hannah Leffler and ISU Flute Professor Dr. Angela Reynolds. Dr. Leffler is Senior Lecturer of Flute at the University of Texas at Arlington, a Miyazawa Performing Artist, freelance performer, private teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, and frequent performer with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.

The Fair is open to musicians (especially flutists!) of all ages and anyone else who is interested.

9:30 “Mental Toughness and Performance Preparation” with Hannah Leffler
10:00 Exhibits Open: Flute Specialists, Flute World, and Indy Flute Shop (Close at 4:30)
10:15 Solo & Ensemble Feedback Event
11:15 High School Soloist Competition
12:00 Lunch and visit the Exhibits!
1:00 Collegiate Masterclass with Hannah Leffler
2:30 Faculty and Friends Recital featuring flutists: Mark Wallace, Hannah Leffler, Angela Reynolds, and Martha Krasnican, piano
3:00 Exhibitor Panel Discussion
3:30 Visit the Exhibits!
4:30 Hannah Leffler and Martha Krasnican in recital! Boyce Recital Hall (FREE and open to the public!)
5:30 Reception with the Artists

•On January 21: $25
•Parents and non-Flutist guests: $5
