Description
In honor of the anniversary of the March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous "I have a dream" speech, we are hosting ISUnity Day on August 28th. On this day, we invite you to join us in wearing an ISUnity shirt, taking a photo of yourself and sharing it on social media by using #ISUnity #YouMatterToMe. We will unite as a campus to show that we believe respecting our differences creates equity and strengthens our community. 500 T-shirts will be distributed on August 27th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm at the Fountain. This shirt represents your commitment to working with others to achieve unity. If this is you, we look forward to seeing you on August 27. This event is sponsored by the Division of University Engagement, the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center, the ISU Police Department, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Government Association, Union Board, the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services and The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX.
