Description
Using diagrams, infographics, and other media in courses will increase retention and understanding.
Visual content is processed 60,000 times faster than any other form of content. 10% of people remember what they hear, 20% remember what they read, and 80% remember what they see. Because of this data, it has been proven that using diagrams, infographics, and other media in courses will increase information retention and understanding. When using media, it is important to use it legally. During this presentation, we will discuss how to locate content with Creative Commons licenses, and discuss how to provide attribution for used content. The presenter is Katie Reed. Light refreshments will be served.
