Description

This session is devoted to best practices for implementing appropriate strategies for interim grading. We will examine the results of the Faculty Senate Interim Grade survey results, as well as hear how faculty across campus make interim grading meaningful.

The second part of the morning will be spent discussing how student responses at the end of course evaluations can inform our teaching. Finally, we will discuss additional types of questions to ask for meaningful student course evaluations.

Presenters: Joy O'Keefe, Kirk Armstrong, Nancy Obermeyer, and Sam Morgan. A continental breakfast will be served.
