Description

The presentation will begin with a guided discussion regarding how program personnel are currently using the assessment data for ensuring quality in student learning, academic and co-curricular programs and support services. The discussion will lead into a review of pertinent background information and and different assessment measures (i.e., direct measures, indirect measures), followed by examples of how these can be developed and modified to meet each program's assessment needs. After, participants will engage in small group discussions for developing or modifying existing assessment measures to meet the needs of their program. Assimilation and wrap-up will conclude. The facilitator for this session is Dr. Kirk Armstrong.

Continental breakfast will be served.
