OLLI: Terre Haute Humane Society

Fred Strohm, operations manager of Terre Haute Humane Shelter, will present this program sponsored by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Chartered in 1913 by a small group of concerned citizens, the Terre Haute Humane Society's goals are to work toward the prevention of all unnecessary animal suffering and the teaching of kindness toward all living things through an area-wide education program. This presentation will discuss the Terre Haute Humane Society, how long they have been around, what services they offer, and the basic overall role that they play in the community.
