Description

Office of Multicultural Services and Programs (MSP) is looking for you to help in this new project - One Million Stars to End Violence. This is a peaceful global star weaving project encouraging communities to engaging in a conversation about ending all forms of violence. Anyone can get participant in our first Star Weave Jam. A Star Weave Jam just brings people together together to weave stars together. The goal is to create a one million star arts and cultural display for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held in Queensland, Australia. Stars from all over the world will be combined for a display of 1,000,000 stars.

The process is simple and takes about 5 minutes. We provide the ribbon and show you how to make the stars. This is free and open to the public. Well even watch a movie on Netflix why we are making stars. There are four Star Weave Jams planned in March and April, as long as supplies last! See the
dates, locations and time below.

So you can come and go when you can. You only stay as long as you want and make as many stars as you can. We collect them as you make them. This event
is open to the public.
