Description

Join for 2018's Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month Speaker. This year Zeke Thomas will deliver the keynote address entitled #SupportSurvivors.

Zeke Thomas is a DJ, producer, LGBTQ and Sexual Assault Victims' Rights Advocate. Zeke brings audiences a powerful message of support and community by shedding light on issues surrounding sexual violence and sharing his own experience as a rape survivor. Zeke is the son of NBA legend, Isiah Thomas. Paper magazine called his single, "Blackness" with Chuck D and Jasiri X, "the civil rights anthem for the EDM generation." He has collaborated and performed with some of the biggest names in music, including Diana Ross, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Pitbull and Cher.

Now, he's turning a new page by speaking out in support of survivors of sexual violence by sharing his experience as a gay man. Zeke has survived being sexually assaulted at the age of 12 and raped at the age of 28.

As a spokesperson for the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), Zeke hopes to give voice to the voiceless and encourage other victims to share their story with loved ones and seek professional help. A supporter of GLAAD, Zeke speaks compassionately on social issues surrounding LGBTQ rights and sexual assault, and shares his personal journey to recovery, including how he used music as a therapeutic outlet his single "Dealin' With It" explores his road to empowerment. Charismatic on the stage, he delivers a fearless message of hope and healing, and assures others who have experienced sexual abuse that they aren't alone and can get through it stronger than before.
