Description

Our Voices, Our Stories, Our Power. Come join us in our fight against gender and sexual violence. Take Back the Night is an annual event designed to bring awareness to gender and sexual violence at Indiana State University and in our community. This year's event is titled "Our Voices, Our Stories, Our Power". ISU students have been working diligently to prepare for the event that will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 6 p.m. Take Back the Night is an international event that takes place on college campuses and in communities around the world. In the 1970s, gender-based violence became part of the national conversation, and over the last few decades, Take Back the Night has taken shape in a multitude of ways including yoga events, virtual vigils, and community marches. Indiana State University students have been participating and planning Take Back the Night events for several decades. The class that has been planning and creating this year's event invites you to join them live via Zoom. The link and more information are available on Instagram @isu_tbtn2020, on Facebook @ISUTBTN2020, and under the hashtag, #SycamoresTBTN.
