Class Description:

The Terre Haute Guitar Club is for beginning to intermediate levels, offering an opportunity for students to learn to play the guitar and create music while working with a group of peers. During this 75-minute class, students will work on guitar techniques and musical concepts through engaging games and activities. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a final recital near the end of the semester.  Guitars will be supplied to students in-class only. Students must have their own guitars at home to practice in-between classes. Rental guitars are available for the duration of the semester, please contact office for further details.

Full scholarships and acoustic guitars are available to children that are on free or reduced lunch plans at school. Scholarships provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call (812) 237-2528 for details. This program is made possible through a collaboration with the Blues at the Crossroads Festival and Indiana State University’s Center for Community Engagement.
