Urban Soil Health Working Group event

A local Urban Soil Health Working Group, P.H.I.S.H. (People Helping Improve Soil Health) will present an end of the year gardening program at the ISU Community Gardens, 219 N. 11th St. Terre Haute, IN, 47807, on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm. The free event will focus on composting, year-end gardening tasks, and will feature a live demonstration on incorporating cover crops into a garden system. The event will take place outdoors on the lawn of the Community Garden. Free giveaways including pollinator and cover crop seed and educational materials will be provided. Participants are asked to dress appropriately for the weather. All ages are welcome to attend. Event hosts are requesting pre-registration for the event to assist with planning.
