Are you teaching a Quantitative Literacy (QL) Foundational Studies course? Are you unsure about what kinds of writing assignments help students develop a quantitative literacy? This workshop is for you! Bring your course syllabi or any assignments you have developed as you will have an opportunity to workshop them. If you have not yet developed any, this is your chance to do so with your colleagues. We will discuss what QL is, writing assignments that help students master the QL outcomes, as well as best-practices for responding to student writing. The facilitator is Dr. Brian Stone.
