Jeffrey Perkins has been teaching television and film production at Indiana State for over twenty years. He came to ISU from WBAK Fox 38 in 1997 to oversee the student video production organization, Sycamore Video, and to train students in both live and field production. He has taught classes in television production, film-style production, writing for the broadcast media and both production and advanced production colloquium courses. Before moving into higher education, Jeff worked for Ideas Incorporated advertising agency, and was a journeyman cameraman for the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IASTSE). At WBAK he was both the Production and Promotion Manager where he produced promos, commercials and six talk shows per week. He received both his bachelor's degree (1988) and master's degree (1990) from Indiana State University in Radio/TV/Film Production.
